So right now I am currently working on a clayboard (scratchboard) piece. Charisma Carpenters famous layout in Maxim (so says the typical male coworker) where she's in nothing but leggings. I don't know how I feel about actualy completing it. I love working on it, but lately the only time I can work on it is at work. Plus I'm doing it in stipple, so it is taking some time to finish. I have her head and shoulder finished, working down her arm at the moment. I'm stuck though, I'm getting closer and closer to to the leggings part and I don't know if I want to keep her legs the way they already are or if I should mutate her bit. I don't mean mutate in a bad way, maybe I should just use the word transform. Maybe I can transform her into a mermaid of some sort. Oh, and I just now though of putting some sort of tribal tattoo from her shoulder down her arm, but... it's a little too late for that one. I think I'll keep her the way she is now and use my imagination more next time. I haven't done scratchboard since highschool, so I think I just became overwhelmed with it and just wanted to make sure I could do it ok, so not too much thought was put into it. So there's my first journal entry for my newly found deviant life... Hopefully soon I can have my scratchboard be my first piece on here then maybe follow it up with some of my older pieces. I hope I hope I hope.
